With over 15 years of industry experience across Australia and New York City, Synergy Underwriting founder Hulya Polites is passionate about challenging convention and closing gaps in an often-rigid insurance market. She brings a rare combination of broking, underwriting and product development expertise to the table.
Hulya's career includes underwriting and product development roles at major insurers including Allianz Australia and Chubb Insurance, where she contributed to specialist financial lines and professional indemnity products. Her experience in commercial broking means she understands both sides of the insurance relationship, allowing her to design smarter, more practical policies. And with international legal and financial experience, she's relentless about precision, compliance, and creating solutions that genuinely work for clients.
